In this module you will learn which planes are used in cephalometrics, how they are used in systematic analysis and which points are constructed in cephalometrics. In this module we will discuss the nasion-basion plane, Frankfurt horizontal, palatine plane, sella-nasion plane, sella articulars, sella basion, ramus tangent, mandibular plane, facial plane, facial axis and constructions of the points Gnathion and Gonion or Gnathion tangentiale and Gonion tangentiale.
