Classic Curriculum in interdisciplinary dentestry Slavicek concept 4.0

The curriculum is clearly focused towards the interdisciplinary dental therapy of patients with a wide variety of demands, problems and wishes. It gives the participants a stable basis in oral rehabilitation and the restoration of occlusion. The knowledge can be immediately integrated into everyday practice. Regular case discussions - also online between the modules - support the implementation in the daily routine. Success in practice starts immediately after the first module and increases exponentially.

Modul 1

Clinical functional analysis, models, articulator set up, preliminary oc- clusal analysis including the analysis of the occlusal functions, problem list and evaluation of the diagnostic findings including treatment planning.

Modul 2

Cephalometric analysis and condylography, extended occlusal analy- sis, supplementing the problem list and evaluating the diagnostic findings inclu- ding treatment planning.

Modul 3

Detailed occlusal analysis, finalization of the problem list and final eva- luation of the diagnostic findings including treatment planning; Planning of the initial therapy including splint therapy with individual splint design and targeted clinical application.

Modul 4

Interim analysis after initial therapy, determining the therapeutic posi- tion, transferring the therapeutic position to the articulator, defining the functional determining factor for oral rehabilitation and occlusal reconstruction

Modul 5

Final treatment planning including all functional parameters: vertical di- mension, occlusal plane, Spee’s curve, the individual occlusion concept (sequential with canine dominance according to R. Slavicek), diagnostic wax up (digital and ana- log), diagnostic set up, importance of Wilson’s curve (s), sagittal condylar inclination and anterior and canine guidance, aesthetic planning.
